The Beach Express is an alternative to Highway 59, a congested
route with over 25 traffic lights. The fifteen mile trip on Highway
59 can take more than an hour during the busy tourist season. The
Beach Express offers a fast way to get you to your destination which,
of course, means more time at the beach!

Orange Beach permanent residents are entitled to a 50% discount. Other
customers may receive a $1 discount on the toll through our Membership Club.

Expansion Plans
The Beach Express is committed to maintaining and expanding in order to
continue to provide quality service to our customers. This program of major
upgrades includes:
- supporting the construction of the Southern Evacuation Route and the extension to I-10
- expansion of the toll plaza (up to 5 additional lanes)
- the addition of a second span to the bridge
- improvement in our technology
